I almost exclusively make hand stitched cards. I first find a design I like, I poke the holes, I choose the paper, and then I hand stitch the design. The tulip design I chose did not have any pussy willows so I added those free hand with a straight stitch and french knots. I used pop dots to add dimension to the pail. I also added texture with a Cuttlebug embossing sleeve.
This is a close up of the stitching.

Bonnie, your card is LOVELY!! I especially love the pussy willows that you added in - the perfect touch. I'm so happy to have you as my Guest Designer this week on Inspired By All the Little Things :o)
Your stitching is gorgeous and so amazing! Thank you for being our Guest this week!
HELLO! I'm just popping in from Inspired by all the Little Things. Your stitched cards are so interesting to look at! I'm excited to meet you and learn from your card art:)
Absolutely darling card, Bonnie! I love your stitching. Beautiful job!
Hi Bonnie. I was so excited to discover your blog. I also make hand stitched cards and like you created a blog so that I could take part in the challenges. It was great looking at your work and recognizing so many of the patterns you have stitched. Your cards are very inspiring. Congrats on being interviewed over at Inspired by all the little things. Glenda. P.S. Should you wish to have a peep here is a link to my blog http://mypapercat.blogspot.co.za/ Happy Stitching
I am a huge fan of wood-grain embossed paper, Bonnie... what a beautiful platform for your gorgeous stitched tulips! I honestly can say I've never stitched on a card, but you've inspired me to try ... can you recommend a paper that holds up to the stitching, please? I cannot wait to join you this week!

Oh WOW!! I just saw that you are the guest designer over at Inspired by All the Little Things and I had to come here to tell you how gorgeous your card is. I've also done some card stitching but that was a while back.
I went to look at all your other cards and I'm amazed at your work, you inspired me to take out my pattern book and give this beautiful art another go.
Thank you for sharing your work and congratulations on being the guest stamper at Inspired by All the Little Things.
Maria Rodriguez.
This is so pretty!
